Did you make your own 4th of July Tradition?

Every year I ensure that we are wearing matchy-matchy clothes and accessories.  Here are my boys at our neighborhood fireworks show.  And yes I was wearing the same get-up! 

We always get lost in the BBQ's and parties, but each of these opportunities is a good time to go back to basics and make it about your nucleus family.. You had kids for a reason - hopefully to feel fulfilled  by being a parent so don't forget that!  It is up to you and only you to create special moments for your children.  Be in the moment and just be....

Hope everyone had a great 4th, and there is always tomorrow to start a tradition in your family.  Put your phones down and pick-up a book at bedtime tonight and just read to them.
